Hawaii Summer Courses

Are you looking for professional development classes that are being offered out of state?  How about at the U of Hawaii?  Some of this summers offerings include courses that cost $71 and the participants can stay in the university dorms and can choose different food programs at the cafeteria.  Of course, if the participant itemizes their taxes, they will be able to claim their costs in Hawaii as a tax deductible expenses.  The content of the classes is great.  There is time outside of classes to do some "tourist" things in Honululu and surrounding islands.  The city (island) bus system goes through the university so transportation is pretty easy.

Some of the courses include Plant Science for Elementary School Teachers (3 days), Physical Science for Elementary School Teachers (8 days),  Scientific Inquiry using the Research Investigation Process (RIP™) for Grades K-5 (3 days), Scientific Inquiry and Statistics-Based Data Analysis Using the Research Investigation Process (RIP™) for Grades 6-12 (6 days) Earth Science for Elementary Teachers (4 days),  Modeling Workshop for High School Teachers (6 days).
