Member Recognition

Every year SDSTA likes to recognize a teacher that has gone beyond the normal classroom teaching duties.  If you know of a deserving someone that could/should be recognized for what they have done, please contact SDSTA President
Ken Graupmann or any SDSTA Officer.  (Their addresses & emails are found on page 7.)

The SDSTA Service Awards have been given out since 1992.

time, on-site registration begins at 7 am in the Main Lobby at the Crossroads Hotel & Convention Center.  All of the meeting rooms for all sessions are at the Crossroads, next door at the YWCA, across the street at the Arena, or one block east at the First Presbyterian Church.  (Directions are available at the registration table.)
Over forty-five sessions will be taking place on Friday, starting at 8:30 am and running through 4:20 pm.  At 4:30 pm, both SDSTA & SDCTM will be holding their annual Business Meetings. Those meeting better be over with by 6 pm as Holt, Rinehart & Winston are sponsoring a reception in the lobby for all attendees.  The 7 pm Friday banquet features David Wylie as speaker.
Starting at 8:30 am on Saturday morning, you will have about forty sessions to choose from. As you leave, don't forget to leave your evaluation form at the registration table.  Information on there will help to plan the program for next year and you might even win a prize.
Speaking of prizes, the above prize is the only one you don't have to be present to win.  At both the Friday & Saturday luncheons, a variety of items are given away to those that are present.
     Hope to see you there ! ! ! ! ! !
